The International Pharmaceutical Students Academic Forum, organized by China Pharmaceutical University (CPU), serves as an academic exchange platform focused on the pharmaceutical sciences, primarily aimed at international students. Since 2021, this forum has been part of the "Study in China" series organized by the Foreign Students Education and Management Branch of the Chinese Association for Higher Education, further advancing international academic exchange and collaboration in the pharmaceutical field. Over the past ten sessions, the forum has made substantial contributions to the growth of pharmaceutical education and research. This December, CPU will host the 11th International Pharmaceutical Students Academic Forum under the "Study in China" initiative, and warmly invites faculty and students from universities worldwide to join. Details regarding forum arrangements and submission requirements are as follows:

Undergraduates and graduate students majoring in pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences at domestic and foreign universities
IV. Competition Tracks
Track for Undergraduates: original research papers related to course learning or research practices/projects.
Track for Graduate Students: in-depth research or review articles in the pharmaceutical field.

A New Era of Innovative Drugs and Medical Technologies
Sub-theme 1: Drug Target Validation and New Drug Discovery
Sub-theme 2: Design, Optimization, and Preparation of Bioactive Molecules
Sub-theme 3: Selection and Application of Drug Formulations in Disease Treatment
Sub-theme 4: Drug Analysis and Drug Metabolism
VI. Event Schedule
The "Study in China" — International Pharmaceutical Students Academic Forum is open to students in pharmacy-related majors from domestic and foreign universities, setting up undergraduate and graduate tracks. The event includes keynote speeches, student thematic reports, roundtable discussions, and poster presentations.
Keynote Speeches: Leading experts in the pharmaceutical field talks on the latest research advancements in their respective areas.
Student Thematic Reports: International students from domestic and foreign universities present 15-minute reports (12 minutes presentation + 3 minutes Q&A).
Roundtable Discussions: Experts and selected students engage in discussions around the assigned topic.
Poster Presentations: Students display their research results in the form of posters.
VII. Submission Guidelines
i. Posters:
Size: 120 cm (width) x 90 cm (height). Please refer to the template (Attachment 1).
Format: PDF, posters will be printed and posted by the organizing committee.
ii. Abstracts:
Template: Refer to Attachment 2 (please submit using MS Word).
Font and Content: Written in English, 10-point font, single-spaced, Times New Roman, with bold titles. The main content should include background, methods, results, conclusions, and no more than 5 keywords, with a maximum of 500 English words.
Authorship: Use English names for authors or advisors, with Chinese names in parentheses.
iii. Registration Form: Refer to Attachment 3.
Please send the poster, abstract, and registration form as a compressed file to cpu_forum@163.com, with the email subject formatted as "Name + Institution/School + Contact Information".
VIII. Award Categories
The forum will separately review the thematic reports and poster presentations in the undergraduate and graduate tracks, with specific awards as follows:
i. Track for Undergraduates
Thematic Report: 1st Prize (1 person, 2,000 RMB), 2nd Prize (2 people, 1,000 RMB each), 3rd Prize (3 people, 500 RMB each)
Poster Presentation: 1st Prize (1 person, 1,000 RMB), 2nd Prize (2 people, 700 RMB each), 3rd Prize (3 people, 400 RMB each)
ii. Track for Graduate Students
Thematic Report: 1st Prize (1 person, 2,000 RMB), 2nd Prize (2 people, 1,000 RMB each), 3rd Prize (3 people, 500 RMB each)
Poster Presentation: 1st Prize (1 person, 1,000 RMB), 2nd Prize (2 people, 700 RMB each), 3rd Prize (3 people, 400 RMB each)
IX. Fees
There is no registration fee. China Pharmaceutical University will cover accommodation and meal expenses for out-of-town participants who are selected to attend the forum; travel expenses are to be borne by the participants themselves.
