Dear students,
Based on the latest policy from the immigration, visas of all foreigners in China are automatically renewed for 2 months during the spread of COVID-19. For instance, if your current visa expired on March 10 2020，it will be extended automatically to May 10 2020, therefore no need to extend your visa during this period.
For students who are currently outside China, if your visa expires, you will have to apply for X1/2 visa from the Chinese embassy in your country to re-enter China. Currently, the entry of foreign nationals including international students holding valid Chinese visas or Residence Permits are temporarily suspended. For any updates on visa extension or related issues, School of International Education will timely inform you. If you have any concerns about visa issues, please don’t hesitate to report to your class mentor.
For students who change their addresses, especially for students who move back to campus from other cities in China, they shall carry out the online registration for temporary residence within 24 hoursupon arrival.
