关于面向来华留学生开展 “感受中国新时代” 主题征文 、摄影和短视频大奖赛的通知
为深化人文交流、推动文明互鉴，展示真实、立体、全面的中国，展现来华留学生的良好精神风貌，《当代世界》杂志社与中国新华新闻电视网、中国路桥工程有限责任公司组成组委会，联合主办“感受中国新时代”主题征文、摄影和短视频大奖赛。
In order to deepen cultural exchanges, promote mutual learning of civilizations, show a real and comprehensive China, as well as reflect the spirit of international students in China, “Contemporary World” Magazine, China Xinhua News TV Network and China Road and Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd. formed the organizing committee, co-host the “Experience China's New Era”—— Essay, Photo and Short Video Contest for International Students
一、活动主题 Theme
以“感受中国新时代”为主题，反映来华留学生、留华毕业生对近十年来中国各方面情况的看法和认识，以亲身体验和切身感受讲述他们眼中的中国新时代。
With the theme of “Experience China's New Era”, it reflects the views and understanding of international students and graduates in China on various aspects of China in the past ten years, and tells the new era of China in their eyes.
二、参赛对象 Participants
目前就读的来华留学生（含因疫情等原因尚未返华的留学生）和2012年后毕业的留华毕业生。
Current international students studying in China (including those who have not returned to China due to the epidemic) and graduates who graduated after 2012.
三、赛事要求 Requirements
本次赛事采用征文、摄影作品、短视频同时征集的方式进行，参赛人员可参加其中一项或多项比赛。参赛作品以真实生活和切身感受为创作基础，均须原创，未在其他书、报、刊、网站、新媒体平台公开发表，也未向其他同类比赛投稿。
This competition will be conducted through the collection of essays, photography works, and short videos at the same time. Participants can participate in one or more of these competitions. Entries shall be based on real life and personal experience, and must be original, not published in other books, newspapers, magazines, websites, new media platforms, nor submitted to other similar competitions.
（一）征文要求 Essay
1.围绕活动主题，题目自拟。以来华留学生视角讲述2012年以来在中国学习、生活、工作的亲身经历、感受和见闻。可涉及社会生活的各个领域，叙说中国的经济发展、科技成果、自然风光、城市建设、人文交往等，讲述真实鲜活的中国故事。
2.征文体裁不限，篇幅1000-2000字，作品建议以中文撰写，字体格式建议采用宋体、四号字、1.5倍行距。
Essay requirements
1.Based on the theme the topic of the essay can be self-designed. International students can tell their personal experiences, feelings and observations in China since 2012. It can cover all areas of social life, narrating China's economic development, scientific and technological achievements, natural scenery, urban construction, cultural exchanges and so on.
2.There is no limit to the style of the essay, with a length of 1000-2000 words. It is recommended that the work be written in Chinese.The recommended font format is Song type, four-point font, and 1.5 double line spacing.
（二）摄影要求 Photo
1.围绕活动主题，用镜头捕捉在华或与中国有关的真实瞬间。作品内容可以是校园生活、大众人物、自然风光、风土人情等，拍摄地为中国境内或与中国元素相关的其他国家和地区。
2.作品要求构思新颖、画面清晰、布局合理，具有一定的艺术表现力。摄影作品黑白、彩色均可，须附作品简要说明，100字以内为宜。每人提交不超过2件作品，单幅照片和组照（每组不超过3张，按1件计算）均可。
3.摄影作品一律采用JPG格式，压缩文件不低于5M。
Photography requirements
1. Around the theme of the event, use the lens to capture real moments in or related to China. The content of the work can be campus life, public figures, natural scenery, local customs, etc., and the shooting location is in China or other countries and regions related to Chinese elements.
2. The works require novel ideas, clear pictures, reasonable layout, and certain artistic expression. Photographic works can be in black and white or in color, and a brief description of the work must be attached, preferably within 100 words. Each person submits no more than 2 works, both single photos and group photos (no more than 3 photos per group, counted as 1 piece).
3. All photographic works shall be in JPG format, and the compressed file shall not be less than 5M.
（三）短视频要求 Short Video
1.围绕活动主题，以来华留学生视角记录在中国学习、生活、工作中的所见所闻所感，生动反映对2012年以来中国各领域发展变化的感受和体会。
2.作品时长3分钟左右，具体呈现形式不限，剧情短片、微电影、微纪录片、Vlog等均可。作品分辨率不得低于720P，接受AVI、MOV、WMV、MP4、RMVB等主流视频格式文件。作品语种为中文或英文；如使用其他语种，须附加中文或英文字幕。
3.可以个人或团队名义参赛。鼓励外国留学生与中国学生组成团队进行创作，在校留学生作品可有指导教师参与。
Short video requirements
1. Focusing on the theme of the event, international students can record what they saw, heard and felt during their study, life and work in China, vividly reflecting their feelings and experiences of the development and changes in various fields in China since 2012.
2. The duration of the work shall be about 3 minutes, and the specific presentation form is not limited, such as short stories, micro-movies, micro-documentaries, Vlogs, etc. The resolution of the work must not be lower than 720P, and mainstream video formats such as AVI, MOV, WMV, MP4, and RMVB are accepted. The language of the work shall be Chinese or English; if other languages are used, Chinese or English subtitles must be attached.
3. You can participate in the competition in the name of an individual or a team. International students and Chinese students are encouraged to form a team to create the video, and the works of international students can have the participation of instructors.
四、赛事安排 Competition Arrangements
（一）作品征集
1.报名方式
有意报名的学生请将作品发送至1620214686@cpu.edu.cn，邮件标题统一格式为：征文/摄影/短视频+作者护照姓名+护照号码+作品标题。
2.报名时间
（1）征文、摄影作品提交截止时间：2022年5月15日；
（2）短视频作品提交截止时间：2022年7月15日。
学校将对报名的作品进行评选后推荐至赛事组委会。
Collection of works
1. How to apply
Students who are interested should send their works to 1620214686@cpu.edu.cn. The subject of the email should be in the following format: essay/photography/short video + author's passport name + passport number + title of the work.
2. Registration time
(1) Deadline for submission of essays and photographic works: May 15, 2022;
(2) Deadline for submission of short video works: July 15, 2022.
The school will evaluate the submitted works and recommend the best to the competition organizing committee.
（二）组委会评奖 Review
征文、摄影、短视频比赛分组评审。赛事组委会将组织相关领域权威专家对参赛作品进行评选。
组委会将于2022年8月25日至8月31日在“当代世界”官网（http://www.ddsjcn.com）、国家留学基金委官网（http://www.csc.edu.cn）对最终评选结果进行公示，并对获奖个人和集体进行表彰。
Evaluation by the Organizing Committee
Group review for essay, photography and short video will be conducted separately. The Organizing Committee of the competition will organize authoritative experts in relevant fields to evaluate the entries.
From August 25 to August 31, 2022, the organizing committee will Publicize the final selection results, and commend the winning individuals and groups on the official website of “Contemporary World”(http://www.ddsjcn.com) and the official website of China Scholarship Council (http://www.csc.edu. cn).
（三）获奖作品推广宣传 Promotion
获奖作品将于2022年9月1日至12月31日在《当代世界》中、英文刊和“CPC WORKS”英文微信公众号、国家留学基金委官网、中国新华新闻电视网客户端和自有平台等主办方媒体平台陆续推广宣传。
本次赛事征文、摄影、短视频获奖作品，作者享有著作权和署名权，赛事组委会享有使用权。主办单位有权将相关作品用于出版、宣传、展览等用途，不再另付稿酬。
参赛人员应对作品享有充分、完全、排他的著作权，不侵犯第三方的肖像权、名誉权等其他知识产权以及个人所有权。
Promotion of award-winning works
The winning works will be published in the Chinese and English editions of “Contemporary World” and the English WeChat public account of “CPC WORKS”, the official website of the China Scholarship Council, the China Xinhua News TV Network from September 1 to December 31, 2022.
The authors of the award-winning essays, photography and short videos of this competition have the copyright and authorship rights, and the organizing committee has the right to use them. The organizer has the right to use the relevant works for publication, publicity, exhibition and other purposes, and no additional remuneration will be paid.
Participants shall enjoy full, complete and exclusive copyrights for their works, and shall not infringe other intellectual property rights such as portrait rights and reputation rights of third parties, as well as personal ownership.
五、奖项设置 Awards
（一）征文类设一等奖5名、二等奖10名、三等奖20名，颁发获奖证书，奖金分别为1500元、1000元、500元；
（二）摄影类设一等奖5名、二等奖10名、三等奖20名，颁发获奖证书，奖金分别为1000元、600元、300元；
（三）短视频类设一等奖5名、二等奖10名、三等奖20名，颁发获奖证书，奖金分别为8000元、5000元、2000元。
（四）中国路桥工程有限责任公司等企业为获奖者及参赛者优先提供海内外工作实习和就业机会，并将视情提供来华留学生企业奖学金或助学金。
Award setting
(1) There will be 5 first prizes, 10 second prizes, and 20 third prizes in the essay category, and award certificates will be issued with prizes of 1,500 yuan, 1,000 yuan, and 500 yuan respectively;
(2) There will be 5 first prizes, 10 second prizes, and 20 third prizes in the photography category. Award certificates will be issued, with prizes of 1,000 yuan, 600 yuan, and 300 yuan respectively;
(3) There will be 5 first prize winners, 10 second prize winners, and 20 third prize winners in the short video category. Award certificates will be issued, with bonuses of 8,000 yuan, 5,000 yuan, and 2,000 yuan respectively.
(4) Enterprises such as China Road and Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd. will give priority to the winners and contestants to provide work internships and employment opportunities at home and abroad, and will provide corporate scholarships or grants for international students studying in China as appropriate.
