Founded in 1971, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group (short as“YRPG”) is the first batch of innovative enterprises named by the Ministry of Science and Technology in China. The group is headquartered in Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, with more than 16,000 employees and over 20 member companies located in Taizhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Suzhou, Changzhou and other places. It has successively won the titles of EFQM Global Award, Global Excellent Performance Award (World-class), Asian Quality Innovation Award, National Contract-oriented and Trustworthy Enterprise, National Civilized Unit and so on.
The group owns four national innovative research and development platforms, winning three second prizes for national scientific and technological progress, and five traditional Chinese medicinal materials entering the European Pharmacopoeia standards.
