根据学校安排，2022年寒假将从1月17日开始，2月20日结束。现将寒假期间有关注意事项通知如下：
According to the University’s arrangement, the 2022 winter vacation will begin on January 17th and end on February 20th.
一、假期学生管理Student management during the vacation
1. 校内住宿学生
1. On-campus housing students
（1）校园管理。在校学生须严格遵守含校园疫情防控在内的各项校纪校规。假期继续每日更新“CPU健康码”，校内生继续实行每日签到制度。在校学生可通过刷脸出入校门，外出期间注意保持社交距离，避免到人群聚集尤其是空气流动性差的场所。
（1）Campus management. Students remaining on campus must strictly abide by all university discipline and regulations including campus epidemic prevention and control measures. In the winter vacation, students shall continue to update “CPU Health Code” in Wechat Work and sign in every day. On-campus students may exit and enter the university gate by face scanning during the holiday. Students should keep social distancing and avoid crowds when off campus, especially places with poor ventilation.
（2）离校要求。假期拟离校外出的校内住宿学生需在2022年1月15日之前线上提交“留学生离校申请”至班主任处。经学院批准后，本科生须于1月16日17:00前离校，研究生于1月24日17:00前离校，2月18日当天9:00-17:00返校，中途不得返校。
（2）Requirements for moving outside campus. Students who want to move outside campus temporarily during the winter vacation shall apply for “Leaving Campus Application for International Students” online to your class mentorbefore January 15th. Only with official approval from the School of International Education can the students move outside campus. After approval, undergraduate students shall move outside campus before 5pm on January 16th, graduate students before 5pm on January 24th and shall only return to campus between 9am and 5pm on February 18th. Students shall not return to campus in the middle of the winter leave.
（3）在外要求。校外住宿期间学生遵守所属地区和社区疫情防控相关规定，务必注意个人防护，戴口罩、勤洗手、不聚集。假期离校学生留在南京或外地固定城市，减少不必要外出，不得多地旅行，不得前往中高风险区，不与来自中高风险地区人员接触。保持与班主任的联系，每日更新“CPU健康码”，如离开居住地需向班主任报备。如有不适，第一时间就医并报告班主任。
（3） Requirements during the off-campus housing period. During the off-campus housing period, students shall abide by the epidemic prevention and control rules of the local community, pay attention to personal protection, including wear masks, wash hands frequently and avoid gathering. When living outside campus, students shall remain in the place of residence and shall not travel to other cities. Students should reduce unnecessary travel, do not travel to middle or high-risk areas, do not travel long distances across provinces or cities, do not contact with people from middle or high-risk areas, and take personal protection measures. Students shall maintain contact with the class mentor, and update “CPU Health Code”in Wechat Work every day. If must leave the place of residence, students shall report to the class mentor in advance. When feeling unwell, students shall go to hospital and report to class mentors immediately.
（4）返校要求。返校时学生需线上提交“留学生返校申请”至班主任处并附48小时内核酸证明、苏康码、行程码及CPU健康码14天打卡记录截图。学生提交返校申请时间：2月16日，返校申请经学院审核通过后学生于2月18日当天9:00-17:00入校。学生返校前的出发地（所在区、县、县级市）内若有中高风险地区，将暂缓返校，待所在区域降为低风险区后方可申请返校。如材料不全、有误或造假，学生不得返校。
（4）Requirements for returning to campus. Before returning to campus, students are required to submit ONLINE the “Return to Campus Application for International Students” to the class mentor, along with the 48-hour valid negative nuclear acid test certificate, “Jiangsu Health Code”, ”Travel Code” and 14-day CPU health code record. Students shall submit the application on February 16th. After approval, students shall only return to campus between 9am and 5pm on February 18th. Ifstudents are located in or have been to a middle or high-risk area, they are not allowed to return to campus immediately. After the area is reduced to a low-risk area, the student can apply to return to campus. Students are not allowed to return to campus if the materials are incomplete, incorrect or false.
（5）宿舍管理。留校学生需自觉做好宿舍清洁消毒。保持室内空气流通，营造干净卫生的寝室环境。注重个人卫生，遵循健康的生活规律。严禁使用违章电器、夜不归宿、留宿他人，出门前务必关好水电和门窗，注意人身财产安全，尤其是冬季消防安全。国际教育学院将不定期开展安全隐患检查和文明督查。如有违纪行为，学院将按照有关规定给予严肃处理。
（5）Dormitory management. International students should consciously clean and disinfect the dormitory, maintain indoor air circulation and create a clean and hygienic bedroom environment. Pay attention to personal hygiene and follow the healthy lifestyle. It is strictly forbidden to use illegal electrical appliances, stay out overnight, or host visitors overnight. Be sure to shut down the water and electricity, lock doors and windows before going out, and pay attention to personal and property safety, especially the fire safety during the winter. The School will carry out irregular safety inspections and civilization supervision from time to time. In case of disciplinary violations, the School will give serious punishment in accordance with the relevant rules of the school.
2. 校外住宿学生
假期服从和积极配合属地和社区防疫管控举措。每日更新“CPU健康码”，及时上报自己身体状况及动态。注意个人防护，减少不必要外出，非必要不离宁，不与来自中高风险地区人员接触。保持与班主任的联系，如有特殊情况需要离开南京，需向班主任报备申请。如有不适，第一时间就医并报告班主任。未经许可不得返校。
2. Off-campus housing students
Students shall obey and actively cooperate with local epidemic prevention and control measures during the summer vacation. Students shall update “CPU Health Code”in Wechat Work every day and timely report your physical condition to the class mentor. Students shall pay attention to personal protection and reduce unnecessary travel. Students are not allowed to leave Nanjing unless necessary, and do not contact with people from middle or high-risk areas, and take personal protection measures. Students shall maintain contact with the class mentor. If must leave Nanjing under very special circumstances, students shall apply and report to the class mentor in advance. When feeling unwell, students shall go to hospital and report to class mentors immediately. No return to campus without permission.
3. 境外学生
境外学生请继续保持与学院及班主任联系，密切关注考务和教学相关通知。学生应注意个人防护，未经许可不得返校。
3. Overseas students
Overseas students shall continue to keep in touch with the school and class mentors, pay close attention to the examinationandteaching related notices. Students shall take personal protection measures. No return to campus without permission.
二、学院假期值班Office hours during the vacation
国际教育学院寒假轮休时间为1月19日-2月16日。寒假期间，国际教育学院工作人员将每日值班，请注意我院官方网站上的值班表和联系方式。如发生意外情况，请及时与宿舍管理员、班主任、值班教师或导师联系。寒假期间请保持手机和电子邮件畅通。请注意：假期期间签证延期、证明、成绩单以及付款/保险审查等业务将暂停，请提前做好安排。
The office staffs will start the break on January 19 and come back to work on February 16. During the vacation, office staff will be on duty every day. Please pay attention to our official website for the duty schedule. In case of unintended circumstances, please keep in touch with the dorm administrators, your class mentor, teacher on duty or supervisor. Please keep your mobile phone and email in touch. During the vacation, the office work of visa extension, certification and transcripts, and review for payments/insurance will be suspended. Please arrange your schedule properly.

三、缴费和签证 Payment and Visa
所有留学生至少提前两周申请居留许可，勿等到签证期满的最后一天。请注意，所有签证延期都必须在完成缴费和注册后进行。缴费与保险相关信息将另行通知。
All students are supposed to apply for resident permit at least two week beforehand and donot wait till the last day of visa expiration. Please be aware that all visa extension shall be made after payment and registration. Detailed instructions for payment and insurance will be announced later.
四、注册和补考 Registration and make-up exams

五、假期校园活动 On-campus activities during the winter vacation
为丰富留学生寒假校园生活，国际教育学院将适当组织校园文体活动，详情请见后续通知。
In order to enrich the summer vacation life of international students, the School of International Education will organize recreational and sports activities on campus. Detailed arrangements will be announced later.
六、假期心理支持 Mental health support during the winter vacation
学生因疫情而出现失眠、焦虑、紧张、恐惧、情绪低落等情绪反应时，建议进行心理求助。求助途径可通过联系班主任、联系学校心理咨询中心、拨打江苏省高校疫情防控心理支持热线025-86868449，或南京医科大学附属脑科医院危机干预热线025-83712977。
When students have emotional reactions such as insomnia, anxiety, nervousness, fear, and low mood due to the epidemic situation, it is recommended to seek psychological support with professionals. Students may contact the school psychological counseling center through class mentor, or call the Jiangsu province epidemic prevention and control psychological support hotline 025-86868449, or Nanjing Medical University Affiliated Brain Hospital crisis intervention hotline 025-83712977.
七、寒假安全提醒 Reminders for a safe and happy summer vacation
1. 疫情防控
全体留学生应遵守疫情防控各项规定，不得迟报、漏报、瞒报、谎报疫情信息，不得扰乱正常教育教学和生活秩序。保持社交距离，不聚餐、不聚集、不去人群密集的公共场所，按时作息，养成良好的卫生习惯。室内活动期间须佩戴口罩。
学生如有急性呼吸道感染的症状,包括咳嗽、呼吸困难和腹泻,特别是体温≥37.3℃，校外学生应立即去医院就医并报告班主任，校内学生应立即报告班主任及宿舍管理员,并遵循学校的应急处理程序。
1. Epidemic Prevention and Control
All International students shall follow the epidemic prevention and control rules, late reporting, omission, concealment, or false reporting of epidemic information are not allowed. International students shall not disturb normal education, teaching and living order. Students shall keep social distancing. Students are kindly advised not to gather to eat, drink, or have group activities, or go to crowded public places. Students are encouraged to develop healthy living and good hygiene habits. Students MUST wear masks wherever indoors.
Students who have symptoms of acute respiratory infections, including coughing, dyspnea or diarrhea, especially body temperature ≥ 37.3 ℃, should immediately go to hospital and report to your class mentor if you are off campus, or report to the class mentor or to the dormitory administrator, and follow the University’s emergency procedures, if you are on campus.
2.遵守中国的法律和学校的规章制度
校外学生严格遵守中国法律法规及学校规章制度，不得非法打工，如有违反将会按规定严惩。避免进入酒吧、夜总会等场所，以免造成意外。
2.Obey Chinese laws and school rules
Students shall strictly abide by Chinese laws and regulations as well as school rules and regulations, illegal work is strictly forbidden, and any violations will be severely punished according to regulations. Please avoid bars, pubs, night clubs, etc. for the potential injury & hospitalization of you and others.
3. 消防安全
冬季防火至关重要！放假前或长时间需要离开房间时，应在离开房间前关闭房间的水电及门窗。严禁在宿舍内使用任何火种(包括但不限于:吸烟、点蜡烛、烧香)或非法电器(包括但不限于:取暖器、电热毯)。假期期间仍会有定期宿舍检查，请遵守学校相关住宿规定。
3.Fire safety
Fire prevention is of great importance. Before vacations or if need to leave the room for a long time, student shall shut down the room electricity, water supply, doors and windows before leaving. Using any kind of fire (including but not limited to: smoking, candles, burning incense) or illegal electrical appliance (including but not limited to: heater, electric blanket) in the dorm is totally forbidden. There will still be room checks during the vacation, please comply with our residential regulations.
4.提高安全防范意识
提高防骗意识、安全防范意识、疫情防控意识，树立科学消费理念，注意人身及财产安全。

International students shall improve the awareness of fraud prevention, security, and epidemic prevention and control, establish a scientific consumption concept, and pay attention to personal and property safety.
