To all international students,

Yesterday March 4, a third-year English-taught pharmacy undergraduate international student returned to Nanjing from his home country and jumped over the entrance into CPU Jiangning campus without permission. CPU quickly responded last night. He is now under quarantine and the school decided to give him the punishment of Serious Warning.

WeChat and email records show the student received the vice president's letter and CPU's recent policies, followed his class mentors' daily group notices, and was fully aware that“students are not allowed to return without permission before receiving the official notice of school-opening . But he deliberately cut connection on March 1, flew back to Nanjing, jumped into the campus, tried to sneak in the dorm H1, and was stopped by the doorkeeper in the afternoon of March 4.

The school hereby calls for all students to strictly abide by the university regulations and stay together to safeguard CPU community and not to return without permission before receiving the official notice of school-opening. Disciplinary actions will be taken on whoever break the rules.
